​Welcome to Fort Benning!

The Fort Benning Spouses Club is a welcoming community for military spouses to connect, support, and grow together.  Our membership is open to spouses from all services and all ranks of the military, including retiree spouses.

About Us

The Fort Benning Spouses’ Club (FBSC) is a volunteer driven, private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates on Fort Benning, GA. Our mission is to provide opportunities of leadership, friendship, service, and support to our members and the Fort Benning community.

Membership

Our membership year runs from August to July with our annual membership drive occurring in August each year. Our members enjoy social events and interest-based clubs as well as contribute to Fort Benning and the greater Columbus community through volunteerism and charitable giving.

Scholarships/Grants

The Fort Benning Spouses Club provides scholarships to support high school seniors and continuing education students as well as the Spouses Club Meritorious Scholarship and Mozelle Dunn Award, It also funds local non-profit projects that benefit soldiers, retirees, DoD civilians, and their families.

Events

The Spouses Club offers a variety of events and opportunities to socialize and become involved in the community. We achieve this through bi-monthly luncheons, holiday events, and monthly free member events.

Thrift Store

We operate one store front, The Fort Benning Thrift Store. The business is primarily volunteer run and offers a wide variety of gently used items from furniture, clothing, children’s toys and much more. The proceeds raised through The Fort Benning Thrift Store are disbursed annually in the form of community grants and scholarships.

ODYD

Operation Deploy Your Dress has teamed up with the Fort Benning Spouses Club to collect formal attire and accessories and "deploy" them to the military and family members of the Fort Benning Community FREE of charge in order to offset the cost of military balls and other formal events.
