High School Senior Application

Eligible individuals are dependent children of active duty, reserve, national guard, or retired US military personnel that will be enrolled in a full- or part-time accredited degree program for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year.

Applicants must be a current high school or home school student graduating during the 2025-26 school year.
All applicants must be applying for or currently enrolled in a degree or certification program through an accredited college, university or technical school within the United States.
The military sponsor of the applicant must be active duty, reserve, national guard or retired from a component of the US military.
Military service members and/or retirees may not apply for this scholarship.
The applicant's military sponsor must reside within a 50-mile radius of Fort Benning.
The sponsor or their spouse must be a current member of the Fort Benning Spouses Club.
Individuals who are attending a service academy are not eligible for this scholarship award.

Continuing Education/College Application

Applicants must have received a high school diploma or equivalent prior to the 2025-26 school year.
All applicants must be applying for or currently enrolled in a degree or certification program through an accredited college, university or technical school within the United States.
The military sponsor of the applicant must be active duty, reserve, national guard or retired from a component of the US military.
Military service members and/or retirees may not apply for this scholarship.
The applicant's military sponsor must reside within a 50-mile radius of Fort Benning.
The sponsor or their spouse must be a current member of the Fort Benning Spouses Club.
Individuals who are attending a service academy are not eligible for this scholarship award.

All scholarship applicants will be notified via email correspondence.

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted by 10 February 2026 at midnight EST. Late applications will not be accepted.

Notification Timeline

Decisions and notifications will be made on or around 22 April 2026. All individuals will be notified of award status via email.

Acceptance Deadline

If you are not accepted to a College/Degree Program/University by October 1, 2026 for the Fall 2026 Semester after receiving a FBSC scholarship, the scholarship will be forfeited and returned to our scholarship fund.
